The new residential units in the area were in need of an efficient and independent wastewater treatment system. The area lacks of a sewerage network and there is no provision to connect on the existing public sewerage networks the forthcoming years.

The design project pack had to include the disposal system necessary for the treated wastewater.

Our primary incentive was proposing a feasible solution in accordance with the national legislation while taking into account the environmental impact of the project.

Compact solutions were chosen due to the extent of the residential units and the demands for wastewater treatment.

This was the optimal method that produces a high quality effluent while having minimum energy operational costs and land coverage.

The biological treatment consisted of biologic discs that follow attached growth treatment method and result in optimal BOD and other pollutant removal as well as zero sludge production.
