The last decades, the area of Zevgolateio- Neochori is facing reoccurring flooding events that are detrimental for the communities and have hindered the local rural economy’s developpment.
Hydrobalance team established the project with an extended Hydrological assessment to identify the critical flow rate for the design.
Our team undertook river modelling on the watercourses present in the area and proposed flood management protection measures.
The main principal behind the proposed solution was to prevent the flooding within the domestic areas and protect the residents.
